The Fundraiser

The fundraiser was held on December 3, 2010 at the Juniper Clubhouse in Herriman. For the most part the fundraiser was a success. We raised a total of $2243. That is a lot of money, but compared to almost a million dollars in medical bills it seems so small. I could not imagine having that amount of medical bills looming over my head. Especially with a family of six children.

The bake sale was HUGE! I wish I would have taken pictures of all the bake goods that were donated. It was amazing! Unfortunately the raffle was not as successful. It brought in less than $300. Which is my fault. We did not have a lot of space to properly display all the wonderful raffle prizes we had. So we are extended the raffle to Tuesday, December 21st. More info to come!

I want to personally THANK each and every person who donated their products, their time, their bake goods or their money to help my sister and her family during this very difficult time in their lives. You have no idea how much they appreciate it! There are no words for how grateful they are. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

The two pictures above are from the fundraiser. If you were there, you know that Santa was too! The first photo is Kim's daughter Malaina. She is the sweet girl who started this fundraiser for her mom. The second is of Kim's daughter Jaleece. She was such a great help in preparing for the fundraiser and at the fundraiser.
